It started with a palm tree. Seriously.
Not a tropical getaway. Not an exotic vacation.
A whiteboard.
A little palm-tree island whiteboard, to be exact.
Years ago, I came across an idea from Napoleon Hill’s The Law of Success: write down your definite aim and revisit it every night. Keep your goals in mind and the future you’re working toward in sight.
I loved that idea. But I’m a visual thinker.
I didn’t want to spend ten to fifteen minutes reading through a master plan every day. I wanted to see it all in a few seconds.
So I started putting my dreams on a wall.
That little palm-tree whiteboard became home to my goals, ideas, and plans for the future. Part decoration, part personal mission control.
Eventually, I graduated to a bigger whiteboard, drawing maps, connecting ideas with arrows, circling milestones, and checking things off as I went.
And something clicked.
With one glance, I could see where I was headed, how far I’d come, and what needed to happen next.
More importantly, I could remember why I started in the first place.
Then came a little problem. Well, a wall-sized one.
My dreams kept growing.
My apartment? Not so much.
There were only so many whiteboards I could hang, markers I could juggle, and brilliant ideas I could accidentally erase.
I even started taking pictures of my boards just to remember what was there before.
And I got to thinking...
- What if my plans could have all the room they needed?
- What if every big idea could have its own space?
- What if I could zoom out to see the bigger picture, zoom in on the details, and revisit old plans without losing a thing?
- What if my whiteboard could grow with me?
- And hey, what if I could just talk to it?
That’s how Midcourse began.
From a little island to a bigger picture.
Two whiteboards. One rather big idea.

Where it began
A palm-tree whiteboard, filled with ambitions and ideas for the future.

Where it started taking shape
A bigger whiteboard. More ambitious plans. The beginnings of a visual roadmap.

Midcourse
All the room those boards never had, and a board you can talk to.
A little room for your biggest dreams.
Midcourse is everything I loved about those whiteboards, reimagined as a digital home for the life you’re building.
A place to map your ambitions, connect your ideas, see your progress, and keep the bigger picture close.
Because life doesn’t always follow the map.
Plans change. Priorities shift. Detours happen. And sometimes, we get so caught up in everyday life that we lose sight of where we’re going.
Midcourse is here to help you find your bearings.
Not to tell you what your dreams should be, or insist you follow a perfect plan.
Just to give those dreams somewhere to live, grow, and change alongside you.
Whether you’re starting a business, changing careers, planning a future for your family, or chasing an idea you can’t quite put into words yet.
There’s room for that here.
Your story is still being written.
One day, you might look back at the plans you’re making now and realize just how far you’ve come.
Some dreams might have come true. Others might have changed completely. And a few unexpected adventures might have found their way onto the map.
That’s all part of the journey.
So here’s to big dreams, little victories, unexpected detours, and everything still waiting around the bend.
Never lose sight of the life you’re building.
Welcome to Midcourse. I’m glad you’re here.
