Tester Terms

Last updated October 26, 2026

Thanks for helping test midcourse. These terms are between you and JRM & Tech LLC (“we”), which makes midcourse. By signing in during private testing, you agree to them.

1. It’s a test version

midcourse is unfinished. Things will change, move, break or disappear, and features may be added or removed without notice. It’s provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

2. Keep your own copies of anything important

We work hard to keep your boards safe, but during testing data could be lost. Don’t rely on midcourse as the only place you keep something you can’t afford to lose.

3. Your stuff stays yours

You own what you put in midcourse: your plans, notes, drawings, photos and documents. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run midcourse for you, for example syncing it to your devices, or sending a summary to Claude when you use Tell the board.

4. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them to improve midcourse without owing you anything. Thank you, truly.

5. Use it fairly

Please don’t:

6. Tell the board

Tell the board uses Claude, made by Anthropic, to suggest changes. Suggestions can be wrong, and nothing changes on your board until you approve it. During testing there are daily limits and an overall monthly limit.

7. Testing is free and can end

There’s no charge during testing. We may end testing, pause the service, or remove a tester’s access at any time. If testing ends, we’ll try to give notice and a way to export your boards.

8. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, JRM & Tech LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of midcourse during testing. Our total liability for any claim related to testing is limited to $50.

9. Privacy

How we handle your information is explained on our Privacy page.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as midcourse grows. If we make a change that matters, we’ll update the date above and let testers know. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
